  1. Looks like a winner to me. It’s about time for a show like this, featuring credible professionals like Dr. C.. I’ve viewed the bible in less than a literal sense after learning a few critical lessons. In catechism class I learned that a bunch of white males sat around in a room during a secret conference and decided which books would be in the official version of the bible. In third grade my teacher had us do an experiment. She whispered a phrase to one of the students and had her pass it on to the next. This was repeated until the “phrase” had made it all the way to the other side of the classroom. Of course it had changed drastically by that time. Then I learned that the bible was used to justify slavery, to deny women the right to vote and to validate the near extinction of Native Americans from the day Columbus and his band of merry men arrived. It all came to a head when I discovered that I was gay. I won’t go into the numerous examples but I will say that after several hard to ignore communiques from the Divine I realized that I didn’t have to kill myself or become a priest because I was loveable just the way I was/am and that the Divine was just as accessible to me as to the Pope.
